Today, I clean the outhouse. Yes, we have one. It is the bathroom for the barn.
It ain't half bad.
It's got a cushy seat, and toilet paper. No known snakes, and it is bright, airy and not smelly. It does get spider webs inside, and dusty- right next to a cornfield.
One year it blew away.
Sometime after this picture was taken, we got a little gusty at Cowfeathers, and the outhouse moved to the field behind it. Pretty far. It got a bit bashed about, but didn't even break the window! We enlisted the help of friends and rolled it back in place, and then I planted a post, cemented into the ground and anchored the outhouse to that. It will take more than our usual gusts to take it on a trip.
The inside. This is a picture of me on the toilet. Really. Can't get this kinda stuff just anywhere.
(Don't worry, Mom, I'm not using it)
